When I see my Culture

When I see my culture I’m proud as hell of our progression we was chained up on a ship, in very bad conditions. Over time we became free in a sense but not entirely. I’m proud we gradually learned how to stand on our two and becoming forceful. Although we don’t have a direct master We still enslaved we enslaved by materialistic things staying stuck at a job who doesn’t even probably pay well, we normalized trauma to where we are in survival mode which is a mindset that more than likely will cause harm to others. When something is hungry they going to do whatever to satisfy their hunger, to kill that rage which stems from being hungry for whatever they need. When I see my culture I see us being divided over nothing, if you walk in a projects and tell everyone only 4 of you is going to make it out, it’s going to be a blood war and that’s exactly what is going on without it being said. Our priorities messed up where we would choose investing in Jewelry over property, one has a R.O.I. The other one doesn’t . We normalized trauma which enslaved us mentally first then the physical part came after due to our actions falling behind the mind . When I see my culture I’m proud of how far we came but I’m disappointed in where we currently are...
